THE HEART OF BELGRADE’S CREATIVE ECOSYSTEM
Ložionica is Serbia’s first creative-industries hub reimagining the concept of a cultural hub in Belgrade. Once a historic railway depot, the modern venue is now a landmark creative centre. Since its inauguration, the venue has hosted world-class international cultural and musical events. In its first 114 days, Ložionica already hosted 30,000 visitors. The Belgrade-based AKVS studio designed this new architectural marvel in the heart of Belgrade. The centrepiece of the venue is the state-of-the-art Black Box, a 619 m² multifunctional space.

A driver of the Fourth Industrial Revolution
Ložionica was once a key engine of the Second Industrial Revolution, servicing steam locomotives – the cutting-edge technology of its time. Today, that same space has been reimagined as a driver of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, centred around creativity, innovation, and knowledge. The dialogue between heritage and contemporary expression is essential to Ložionica’s identity.

The space offers a slew of meeting halls and foyers, with standout halls including Peron, with 170 seats, and the exhibition space, with a capacity of up to 400 attendees in a banquet setting. The spacious foyer, stretching 450 square metres, can host up to 250 attendees for a standing banquet. Ložionica is redefining the meaning of a cultural hub, becoming a preferred choice for event planners in Serbia and beyond.
