International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) has today released its Annual Performance Review for FY 2025, showcasing a year of growth, innovation and impact. In partnership with the NSW Government and Darling Harbour Live, ICC Sydney continues to deliver on its mission to Make a Difference for the people of New South Wales (NSW).

Placemaking NSW Chief Executive, Anita Mitchell, said ICC Sydney was a driving force behind the state’s strong visitor economy, with the venue drawing business and talent to Darling Harbour throughout the year.

“ICC Sydney continues to play a pivotal role in advancing New South Wales’ vision for a vibrant, productive and inclusive state. Through its delivery of world-class events that champion innovation, sustainability and cultural celebration, the venue exemplifies how strategic investment in infrastructure can generate lasting economic and social impact,” Mitchell said.

ICC Sydney FY 2025 Highlights:

  • 98% delegate satisfaction.
  • Clients who were surveyed reported they were satisfied with ICC Sydney’s services.
  • Delivered a live entertainment boom, hosting 136 live entertainment events, including the record-breaking Les Misérables The Arena Spectacular, the venue’s longest-running show to date.
  • Secured 13 awards and accolades for the venue, its team and services, including Venue Team of the Year, and Sustainability Initiative – Social and Cultural awards in the Australian Business Events Association Awards and winner of the NSW Wine Sommeliers Wine List Awards (2024 and 2025).
  • Provided 10,499 hours of professional development for its team members.
  • Supported 13 graduates and interns across Audio Visual, Culinary, Event Management and Building Services graduate programs.
  • Certified Silver EarthCheck.
  • Achieved Silver status in Pride in Diversity’s Australian Workplace Equality Index.
  • Powered by 24% renewable energy.
  • Donated quality surplus food equating to 12,838 meals to people in need.
  • Donated 1,527kg of quality goods to community partners.
  • A$13.85 million food and beverage spend with NSW-based producers.
  • A$244,562 spent with 27 First Nations suppliers.
  • 158,250 First Nations cultural impressions through events.
  • 423 Legacy Program activations protected the environment and deepened connections with First Nations Peoples, creative industries and emerging entrepreneurs.
  • Reimagined Dancers’ Alley at Moriarty Walk and engaged the local dancing community.
