We attended so many events in the past years and unfortunately we can say that quite some of them were simply boring. There was way too much content, speakers were having 1-hour long presentations, there was no time for networking and engagement and interaction with the audience seemed like an unknown word for the organizers. We ended up wasting our time and money and spending our time answering work emails.

Disrupting the event industry

We were thinking what could we do and we decided – maybe we can organize an event, which can disrupt the event scene and show the MICE, travel and event industry, that it is time to change. Life is simply too short to loose time at boring events, right?

This is how Conventa Crossover was born. It is a conference like no other. Fresh, creative and most of all bold, intended for meeting planners, meeting providers, congress destinations and all professionals closely related to tourism and marketing industry.

No long, boring speeches

With innovative event format, that combines different speaking formats, such as TEDx, PechaKucha, pitching, debates and workshops, we wish to disrupt the event industry. We wish to encourage everyone to think outside the box, focus on the future and engage participants at their events. The maximum length of the speech will be 30 minutes (keynote only), with other speakers having 6 – 20 minutes. We believe that you can deliver a lot in a short time, if you prepare well.

Networking is in our blood

We see Conventa Crossover as a two day festival and meeting of everyone in tourism and marketing industry, that wish to have fun, gain new knowledge, exchange ideas and hang out in informal environment. The core of it is Slovenian methodology Power to the meetings, that was developed by Conventa Crossover founder, Gorazd Čad.

If you wish to experience a different event, that will take your imagination up high, boost your creativity and surprise you with small details and at the same time offer you a great content as the only event focused on tourism and marketing in the region … well, you should join us at Conventa Crossover. Time is slowly running out, apply here.
