Croatian Tourism Days, a traditional conference of travel industry representatives will be held from 13 to 14 October in Poreč.
The working part of Croatian Tourism Days will take place at Hotel Laguna Parentium in Zelena Laguna and at Isabella Resort on the island of St. Nikola, while the awards ceremony will take place in Sports Hall Žatika.
The two-day conference will analyze the tourist season 2015 and announce the main activities for the preparation of the tourist season 2016. Also, for the first time will be presented action plans for the development of special forms of tourism prepared based on the basis of Strategy of Development of Croatian Tourism by 2020 with the focus on hot topic Sharing economy.
At the traditional conference of travel industry representatives, which brings together more than thousand participants this year, will be held awards ceremony to individuals, representatives and best destinations according to the new model.
The existing categories of awards granted to the business sector, the Tourism Flower –Quality for Croatia which is granted by Croatian Chamber of Commerce from this year on is expanded. In addition to already existing awards for hotels, camps and marinas, this year were established awards for DMC’s, hostels, family accommodation, charter company, restaurants and rural households.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Tourism, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and the Croatian Tourist Board.
