On 12th of October 2015, Grand Hotel Union was in style for the Elle Style Awards 2015 by Škoda. The event that was held in Slovenia for the third time was particularly ceremonial as the Slovenian Elle Magazine also celebrated its 10th birthday.
Elle Style Awards is one of the most important events in the fashion industry. It is a renowned international fashion event, the awards for the best achievements in the field of fashion and other fields related to lifestyle, were first awarded in London in 1997. The prestigious awards in the world received some of the most famous names in the field of entertainment and fashion.
On 12th of October 2015 the Grand Hotel Union hall came to life with the success of people who the editorial board of the Elle magazine thanked for their work by presenting them with special Elle awards. The award for Elle designer went to Jelena and Svetlana Proković (JSP), Elle man and woman of the year became Jaša Mrevlje-Pollak and Nika Zupanc. The young talent award was given to Hana Karim, the fashion accessorize designer award went to Milena Hrastnik and Dušan Franc Hrastnik, while the award for they lifework went to Milena Eber Štimac.
