Ford decided to organize the international launch of its freshest model in Bled Slovenia and at the foothill of a large ski jump hill in Planica, Slovenia in April 2016. All car journalists from East European region will have the honour to test the market-leading pick-up in one of the most spectacular landscapes in Slovenia.

Therefore it is no surprise that the Slovenian Ford team, who managed to persuade Ford’s European strategists in Germany, to choose Slovenia for launching their best and most attractive pick-up truck, is more than excited by this unique opportunity to test the ranger on their own home ground.

The exact route of test drivers is not yet determined, as the Slovenian official Ford importer (Summit Motors Ljubljana) wants to carefully choose the most picturesque roads with enough attractive locations for filming and photographing.

This is by far one of the most efficient marketing channels, where the tourism diversity of each county is presented at its best. With Ford choosing Bled (Slovenia’s touristic jewel) and Planica ski jump hill (Slovenian’s most breathtaking sports constructions), this specific car launch will literally launch itself as an unforgettable event as the journalists will be able to experience the mightiness of Slovenian’s largest ski jumping hill by descending on zip line right over the Planica giant
