Greece’s Aegean Airlines launched flights from Athens to Ljubljana yesterday. The service will operate twice per week, on a seasonal summer basis, until September 24. The carrier is expected to carry some 7.000 passengers on its 34 flights

Furthermore, Aegean will operate charters from Rhodes and Corfu to the Slovenian capital during the summer. “We are very excited to welcome this route between Ljubljana and the heart of Greece. I am certain it will be a success, offering our passengers to discover the lively ancient but modern capital or to plan their journey with Aegean Airlines’ connections onwards from Athens”, the General Manager of Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, Zmago Skobir, said. Services will run with an Airbus A319 aircraft.
