Hosting more than 50 event professionals in London

Audience interaction specialist Slido hosted more than 50 leading events professionals on June 23rd at a panel debate which explored the future of interactive events during London Technology Week. Held at Headspace in London’s Hatton Garden, the first ever client event for the company, entitled Slido Insights: Take Interaction to the Next Level, examined the barriers and challenges to creating more interactive events and explored how the make-up of events of the future might change with greater audience interaction at the heart of the programme.

Attendees responded to a series of polls during the live debate, with ‘anonymity’ rated as the primary motivator for encouraging audiences to interact and ‘fear of public speaking’ receiving 54% of the poll votes to be rated the top barrier when encouraging audience interaction.

In addition to the panel debate, Slido CEO Peter Komornik revealed a number of product developments planned for Slido, based on user feedback and polled the audience to gauge recommendations on future developments for the audience interaction platform.

Peter Komornik comments: “We are beyond pleased with the turnout for our first event and we hope we have delivered helpful, insightful content that will drive all attendees to want to participate at future Slido events. We hope to be able to deliver more of these educational sessions in the future.”
