The parade featuring 200 cars started on 1st of June at the beautiful Alpine city of Bled and will end on 5th of June in Rovinj.

Porsche Parade Europe is a motoring extravaganza offering many opportunities. Over the years the parade has been held in different cities across Europe like Luxembourg, Paris, Vienna, Goeteborg, Barcelona, Newport, Brighton, etc. This year, in scope of the 4-day parade, Porsche lovers will visit three jewels of world fame. The starting point was today at Bled, an Alpine heaven striking on earth, next is the Postojna Cave, the biggest Karst cave in the world, and finally Rovinj, a visually stunning and utterly romantic old-world town on the Adriatic coast.

200 cars are participating at this event organized by Porsche Club of Slovenia, Porsche Club of Croatia and supported by Porsche Germany. Slovenian and Croatian tourist agencies are helping with the event, organizing the pre and post programs, while Sava Hotel & Resorts, the largest chain of hotels and resorts in Slovenia and the main provider of accommodation in Bled, is supporting the event as well. Participants and two members of the Porsche family have thus been accommodated in Hotel Golf and Hotel Park. Tonight they will meet for the first time at the opening dinner organized in the restaurant of Golf Hotel that was for this event only transformed into the Porsche Bar. The mouth-watering cuisine prepared by the hotel chefs will be accompanied by interesting presentations and young dancers. A real Alpine party is planned for the first night. They won’t have to worry about their steel horses as they will overnight at a special parking place arranged between the two hotels and also in the nearby hockey hall. That will be the first!

The second day participants will encounter Slovenia’s beauty

Several attractive programmes will be available. Lovers of nature will leave in the morning for a relaxing trekking trip related to the world famous Bled Lake, while petrol heads will take their Porsches to the nearby sport airport and will enjoy auto-slalom. Golf enthusiasts will be able to participate in a specially organised golf tournament on one of the most picturesque golf courses in Europe. For lovers of architecture and the cuteness of small towns a trip to Ljubljana, the Green Capital of Europe for 2016 will be organized. Those who like to relax and be pampered and spoiled will be able to do so in Sava Hotels & Resorts wellness centres. The day will end with the gala dinner in the festive hall of the Grand Hotel Toplice.

On day three the parade will leave Bled and head to Postojna to visit the Karst caves and later on head towards the Adriatic Sea to reach the beautiful Croatian city of Rovinj, the last stop of the trip.

Although Porsches are designed for racing, an there will be an opportunity or two to put the pedal to the metal, Sava Hotel & Resorts wishes all participating a pleasant stay with them and a safe and relaxing drive!
