Since its launch in 2014 by ADC Group, EuBea Festival has been a unique networking platform for event and live communication professionals from all over Europe. This year’s edition in Saint Petersburg, from October 13 to 15, promises to enhance at maximum levels the opportunities offered to the European event community.
After two intense and inspiring days of learning, interaction and live show, featuring an outstanding content agenda conceived around industry-leading speakers and the theme of “Inspire, empower, succeed”, and culminating in the awarding of prizes to the best events of the year, delegates will benefit from more networking opportunities in a convivial atmosphere while enjoying a rich leisure programme to discover the cultural capital of Russia.
Thanks to the commitment of Live Communication Group, EuBea 2016 organisational partner, and the official support of Saint Petersburg City Government, a series of one-of-a-kind leisure activities will show the city from all sides, unveiling its unique character and traditions. Delegates will be able to discover the city through the camera’s eye. The sights of Saint Petersburg will be explored on a walking tour together with a famous city photographer who will provide tips to capture glorious travel photography while watching the city from unexpected perspectives.
Those fond of theatre and ballet will not miss a special visit to the legendary Mariinsky Theatre. The doors to the backstage will be opened to EuBea delegates to enjoy its magic while learning the history of the main ballet and opera stage of the Russian Empire. The day will continue with a boat tour along the Moyka river to explore the city from the water.
Delegates more interested in art will have the opportunity to join a guided tour to the State Hermitage Treasure rooms, to enjoy one of the world’s largest and most valuable art collections, and the Fabergé Museum. Alternatively, it will be possible to visit the Tsar’s residences in Saint Petersburg’s suburbs, during a tour of Tsarskoe Selo, an exceptional 18th century palace, surrounded by extensive landscaped gardens, and Pavlovsk, the youngest of the grand Imperial estates around Saint Petersburg.
Those who prefer a more experiential approach to Saint Petersburg, will be able to join a painting art class in the famous Russian Academy of Fine Arts, where many prominent Russian artists graduated from, or a cooking class to learn the secrets of Russian specialties followed by a visit to the Russian Museum of Vodka.
“Events such as the EuBea Festival, alluring the attention of leading international representatives of the event community, help to strengthen business and partnership relationships with foreign countries, expanding the opportunities of local operators” said Andrey Mushkarev, Head of the Committee for Tourism of the Saint Petersburg City Government. “By supporting the festival, we promote Saint Petersburg not only as one of the leading cultural and tourist centers, but also as a European business capital with developed infrastructures, ready to host high-scale top-level international events”.
Leisure activities can be booked through EuBea website and app from September 19 to October 10. As the number of participants for each activity is limited, booking will be on a first serve, first come basis.
