There are strong parallels between the capital cities of both countries with established track records in hosting large-scale global conference and tradeshows. One of Europe’s major commercial centres, Amsterdam has decades of experience hosting international events and is a major hub for businesses in technology, transport and communications. Its futuristic outlook and reputation for being free-spirited has attracted a cosmopolitan, creative pool of talent that is highly adaptive to the use of technology in events. Getting to meetings and attractions within the compact city is easy using the advanced tram, bus and metro system, or on bike for a local experience. A pioneer in hosting green meetings and incentives, engage delegates with CSR activities such as an eco-art workshop or a sustainable cooking class.

Bo Madsen, Country Manager of Pacific World Denmark said, “Copenhagen has been consistently rated as the best place to do business in Europe and it has the “happiest people in the world”. Taking advantage of the Copenhagen’s safety and ease of getting around, our experienced team can enhance any meeting with programmes that explore its rich history or revolutionary culinary scene. Long bike rides, evening canal tours or scavenger hunts at dusk are just some of the ways to engage delegates and explore what Copenhagen has to offer. ”

Kim Donkers, Country Manager of Pacific World Netherlands brings the experience of Amsterdam as a leading host of international events to clients of Pacific World. “Our team’s expertise and knowledge means we can customise any event whether they take place at unconventional venues from 17th century canal houses, or unique museums and even the former Stock Exchange. Well-equipped with the infrastructure for events of any size, it is remarkably efficient to organise meetings in Amsterdam. It is equally easy to hop on an Eco Solex for a countryside tour, pay a visit to local farmers or experience one of the many art and music performances around the city.”
