Since the year of 2000, Arturs Zantmans is making this world more connected by the rise of car hire industry. His personal story is as colourful and global as his business progress. In the past, he was strengthening his professional skills as a Country Manager at AVIS Rent a Car Latvia, Managing Luxury Chauffeur Services business in Russia, running Franchise of AVIS Rent a car Los Angeles and tested his entrepreneurship mind with his two own ventures in Italy and his home country – Latvia. Now he is developing the Affiliate Partnership at Car Target and sharing his valuable experience with business partners.

Q: What are you most proud of in your business and private lives?

Looking at my busy and exciting business and private life, I can honestly say that I am most proud of finding the right balance between the challenging work and 4 kids.

Q: What motives you the most at work?

I think that every person should strive to be motivated by the mission to change the world.

Q:What has been your star moment so far and your favourite project with which you would praise yourself?

During one of my previous projects within Luxury car segment, I was responsible for the transportation of varied and high level demanding personages such as Queen Elizabeth II, Alexei II (Patriarch of All Russia), USA President team and often very capricious world known music idols.

Q: What will be new in your business in 2017?

I am excited to see new partners, new countries and new challenges that 2017 will definitely bring. Among this challenges is also affiliate program in Slovenia…

Q: Where are you going to spend this year’s New Year’s Eve?

This New Year’s Eve I will be enjoying in a winter wonderland with my family, Skiing in beautiful Val Thorens.

Q: What was your favourite vacation?

Since I have 4 children, every vacation we take, is exciting and adventurous . But if I must highlight my favourite vacation, it would be two romantic weeks without kids, just me and my wife on a small Manafaru island in Maldives.

Q: Where would you go if there were no time and financial constraints?

Oh, the wonderful daydreaming question. I would go sailing around the globe, to see and experience as much as I can at the sea.

Q: What is your favourite indoor/outdoor activity?

With my busy schedule (both business and private), I rarely find time for free time activities. But when I do, my heart is always happiest when I go yachting and car racing.

Q: What is your favourite dish and restaurant (anywhere in the world)?

I love sea food and when I eat fresh tuna tartare, my taste buds go wild.

Q: What is your favourite gadget?

In this time of modern technologies and smart phones, I guess my favourite gadget is my Iphone. It literally goes with me anywhere and I use all of it advantages.

Q: What is your favourite mode of transport?

Based on my favourite outdoor activities, you can already guess that my favourite mode of transport are cars and boats.

Q: If you could witness any event in history which one would you choose?

I am a big pacifist, so I can honestly say I would choose a world without any wars.

Q: The last film, book, concert?

I love films, so the last movie I watched was The Thomas Crown Affair (1999 film) – I have probably seen this movie for 101 time and it is still as thrilling as if first seen.

Q: What fantasy character would you be?

If I could choose, I would be King Arthur.

Q: What did you learn last week?

I think that you learn every day and with every opportunity, you just have to be open to it. Last week I learned that people tend to spend way too much time focused on unimportant issues that detract and deflect them from the issues upon which we should be focused.
