Natour Alpe-Adria, fair for active leisure time opened its doors yesterday at GR- Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre. The fair was opened by Zdravko Počivalšek, the Slovenian Minister of Economic Development and Technology, together with presentation of the fair award for quality and excellence in the Alpe – Adria region, with this year’s theme “Innovative tourist programs for active holidays in nature’s environment”. From 1st to 4th February 2017 Ljubljana and the leading convention venue in Slovenia, GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre, presents green and active tourism which is definitely one of Slovenia’s main tourism direction with its nature beauty and treasures.

The 28. International Natour Alpe-Adria Fair is an event with 27-year tradition. Alpe Adria tourism fair was last year combined with the boutique business trade show Natour, specialising in green, active tourism. Under one roof, it connects the business part of the fair with Natour trade show and classical fair with this year over 330 tourism providers from 15 countries – Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Italy, Albania, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Nepal, India, Jordan and Tunisia. Besides the classic fair offer with exhibitors presenting their offer of outdoor activities, the business part of Natour Alpe-Adria, the trade show serves as a meeting spot of offer and demand in outdoor activities. The exhibitors participate at business meetings with travel organizers, tourist agencies, potential investors, representatives of interest groups, etc. All with goal to produce business connections, network and learn about new trends.
