The Meetings Space is dedicated to uniting the most influential buyers with the most inspirational suppliers in the European MICE industry, and their next forum will be held in Copenhagen the 23-25th of February. The next Meetings Space will reflect Copenhagen’s main strengths, including sustainability, design, Danish ‘hygge’ and of course Copenhagen life style.

Copenhagen will host around 80 of the most influential buyers and inspirational suppliers when the 8th MICE business forum, The Meetings Space, arrives in town.

The forum will be held at Scandic Copenhagen from the 23-25th of February and attendees are primarily UK buyers plus German and other major EU markets together with European suppliers. The Meetings Space will also include MICE country specialists who are based in the key European markets. These experts are immersed in serving buyers and suppliers across the European meetings industry.

Jonas Wilstrup, Convention Director of Copenhagen CVB is excited to welcome The Meetings Space and said: “The attendees at The Meetings Space now get first-hand experience of Copenhagen and what the city has to offer both inside and outside the meeting room. We will showcase Copenhagen through storytelling about gastronomy, sustainability, design and quality of life to attract even more meetings business to the city in the future.”

Cool, Green & Design
The Meetings Space’s exposure of the upcoming forum highlights Copenhagen as a cool and green city with a large array of design and gastronomy. Furthermore, the Danish ‘hygge’ will be a theme in the event program.

Lorraine Hall, Managing Director of The Meetings Space commented on their choice of Copenhagen as the host city: “The city is extra green with electrical busses, clean water in the harbour and recycling-aware citizens, and over two-thirds of the hotel rooms are certified environmentally friendly. And of course we want everyone to discover the meaning of ‘hygge’ … chilled, does not even come close.”

The conference foyer will be transformed into a cool Danish Design ‘hygge’ lounge area with trendy designer furniture sponsored by CPH Lounge.
