The largest specialized building fair in Slovenia and region in term of the exhibition space and number of exhibitors and visitors, welcomed its first guests on Tuesday at GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre. The fair was opened by Miro Cerar, Slovenian Prime Minister, together with director of GR MSc. Iztok Bricl and address by deputy Mayor of Ljubljana, Miss Jelka Žekar. Grand opening ceremony of Home Fair awarded also the two Quality Label in Construction, which were given to company Hipox for the implementation of flat roofs and terraces, and company Slovenijales for modern installation of external doors and windows.

From 7th to 12th March the biggest international building fair in Slovenia, will fill every inch of 20,000 m² GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre exhibition halls, together with 3 additional halls. 580 companies from 32 countries in the field of construction, joinery, heating and cooling technology, interior design, landscaping and environment preserving will present themselves, with this year’s accompanying program comprising of 120 expert lectures.

Slovenian leading convention centre, GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre is traditionally hosting this popular event for which they have also built 3 additional halls to ensure the high demand in building field which is every year attracting more and more visitors to Ljubljana every year – numbers for last year’s show that Home fair has been visited by about 55,000 people. The preparation for Home Fair started already in the beginning of February, to ensure that each and every one of the 580 presenting companies have all needed, under one roof.
