Croatia presents the brand Stories, Croatian Unique Hotels

In the beautiful atmosphere of Rovinj boutique design hotel Lone, Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK) introduced the first Croatian brand of luxury hotels – Stories, Croatian Unique Hotels. The new Croatian brand of unique and luxury hotels was presented during the European Summit of the International Association of Luxury Hotels (ILHA Summit) with goal of HGK to stronger the position of Croatia in the luxury niche tourism. ILHA has more than 300,000 professional members of the luxury hotel industry in the world and this year summit presented even some big names as ILHA ambassador of luxury travel, Hollywood actress Eva LaRue, known for her roles in CSI Miami.

Nenad Nizić, Chairman of HGK: “Brand Stories, Croatian Unique Hotels currently ranks 16 exceptional hotels which were handpicked and had to meet strict criteria. Most of our hotels are also recognize as the winner of international award, some of them are members of renowned world’s luxury hotel associations, and two of our restaurants are recommended in the Michelin Guide. With this new brand and joint positioning on the market, our objective is to position Croatia as a special, luxury destination”.

Croatia has been developing and focusing on luxury tourism. Group of 16 luxury Croatian hotels in some of the most amazing locations, are classified on the luxury list, which had to meet strict and high standards to get on the list. Among them are Hotel Kazbek, Pucić Palace and Villa Dubrovnik (Dubrovnik); Hotel Adriana (Island Hvar), Hotel Adriatic, Meneghetti, San Rocco and Valamar Isabella (Istria); Palace Lešić Dimitri (Island Korčula); Hotel Alhambra (Island Mali Lošinj), Hotele Bevanda and Navis (Opatija); Hotel Vestibul Palace (Split); Hotel Life Palace (Šibenik); Mansion Martinis Marchi (Island Šolta) and Hotel Bastion (Zadar).

Today tourism trend show that Croatia has a lot of potential in this market, with countries amazing nature resources, rich cultural and historic part, their strategy has proven to be right one in recent years with opening of many luxury hotels and becoming also the meetings industry high valued destination with excellent infrastructure and professionalism.
