2016 was a year of success and growth for both the Hilton Hotel in Dubrovnik (Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik) and Adris group, that acquired the hotel in 2014. Overall, operating profit of HRK 16 million (more than 2 million EUR) was achieved, which is a 22 percent growth. With Croatian tourism records in 2016 and Dubrovnik’s popularity, it is hard to be surprised.
2016 was a year of success not only for Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik but also for Croatian tourism overall. In the record year, 16,3 million tourists visited Croatia, which is 2,2 million more than a year before. 8,7 million tourists visited Dubrovnik-Neretva country and Dubrovnik as a city also recorded the most overnight stays. The beginning of 2017 shows great potential and we can already hear the record bells again – in first 4 months of 2017, 22 % more tourists visited Croatia.
At Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik, 22 percent growth was achieved in all key indicators. Overnight stays grew by 4 percent in 2016, prices by 1 percent, and income from accommodation by 5 percent. Net profit amounted to HRK 12 million (1,6 million EUR) or 53 percent more than the profit achieved in 2015. In 2016, Adris group recorded a total income in the amount of HRK 5.55 billion, while the business income amounted to HRK 5.11 billion.
