24Idea is a startup model that was developed by three creative out of the box young thinkers at Danfoss. The success of the 24Idea event penetrated to the corporate level, with the first similar event taking place in Denmark. Mateja Panjan, internal innovation process manager says that 24Idea brought Danfoss new knowledge about modern internal events design, authentic and inspiring communication and employee enthusiasm. 24Idea created an innovation process that is now adopted by 25.000 Danfoss employees all over the world.
Q: What do you love about your job the most?
That I can be an entrepreneur inside big corporation.
Q: Where do you see the biggest opportunity in marketing and MICE industry?
MICE industry will eventually move to hybrid events. This can be done in many ways for example by online participants joining a live event or with event organized in two or more different places that connect virtually to share content. With today’s social media engagement this is easier than ever and with a progress of VR and AR we are adding endless possibilities and space for host’s creativeness.
Q: How do you deal with marketing jungle on daily basis?
As a user I want to separate the grain from the chaff. Marketing today is about personalization, providing high-level content and stories. Video and images are today’s winners.
Q: How did the best events you attended so far make you feel?
Just thrillingly excited.
PERSONAL – BACKGROUND
Q: Looking at your bucket list, what is the one thing that you really wish to cross off until the end of 2017?
This year I will organize more than five social events “let’s go on a playground” in my local community and encourage natural play for children that is essential for becoming healthy and responsible, creative adults.
Q: If you could have dinner with anyone (alive or dead), who would you have dinner with and why?
My dad, who passed away several years ago. I would just like to talk with him once again.
Q: What would you share with our participants if you would have only one minute?
Everybody can be creative if they are allowed and empowered. One single person can’t be smarter than others all the time. That is why you have to go out, reach the people and crowdfund ideas.
