Israel’s leading International Venue Opens a new International Operations Department

The Tel Aviv Convention Center is Israel’s leading venue for international conferences, summits, performances and events. The noticeable rise in incoming tourism marked throughout 2017 and the notable accreditations and acknowledgements Tel Aviv collected as of late, including being touted as ‘the destination of the year’ and Israel’s Coolest City by Forbes magazine, experiencing its best half-year ever in the history of the country’s tourism industry and being voted as the best city for 2017 by Condé Nast Traveler Spain, have been among the driving factors to the TACC’s recent launch of a department for international conferences, working to appeal to global crowds and reinforce the center’s activity with potential clients abroad.

According to a survey published by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism, in 2015, 166 international conf. took place in Israel, out of which 72 were held in Tel Aviv, indicating on the large potential for growth in the market. “Tel Aviv, breaking incoming traveler records in 2017, is undoubtedly the best city in the world for MICE, and we hope to capitalize on that” says TACC CEO, Tamir Dayan.
