When Bled goes Green!

The new bicycle rental system in town offered to everyone

bled_slovenia

We are excited to share the news that the most touristy Slovenian town has on September 21st announced the new green and user-friendly offer. The talk of the town (and country) is about the BLED Green Ways – the automated bicycle rental available for pleasant rides around Bled and its lake. This way the town, according to Bled’s Municipality statement, combined the care for the environment and the relaxation into one activity.

The bicycles can be rented by individuals older than 14. To rent the bicycle, one needs to register into the BLED Green Ways system at the Infocentre Triglavska roža Bled, Infrastruktura Bled, or at Camping Bled where one receives the Bled Card. Users can use the bicycles for free for 24 hours a week. So far the system offers 4 rental stations with 24 bicycles. For Bled residents and for owners of the Bled Card the registration will be free until April 30th, 2018. For other visitors, the registration costs 25 euros.

Have an enjoyable ride!
