QuickMobile, the global leader in enterprise mobile meeting and event apps, won an award for Best Use of Wireless Technology at the 2017 Event Technology Awards, an annual event hosted in London by Event Industry News. The award recognized QuickMobile’s leading-edge beacon deployment for its client, John Deere.
“Beacon technology has been at the heart of cutting-edge events that push the limits of technology to create an entirely new attendee experience,” said QuickMobile CEO David Smith. “It’s a great honor to earn this recognition at the Event Technology Awards, which could not have happened without the creative collaboration with John Deere.”
QuickMobile’s Bluetooth Lowe Energy (BLE) beacon technology was used at the John Deere Expo to distribute program information and measure attendance at various sessions. The John Deere Expo featured over 17,000 beacon-activated document impressions over the course of the 10-day conference.
