Rose joins Jack Morton from HR at global intellectual property software company Anaqua

Melissa Rose joined the agency’s executive leadership team in the new role and is tasked with helping the agency grow, retain and nurture talent. Working out of the agency’s Boston office, Rose will report directly to Jack Morton chairman and CEO Josh McCall.

“Talent is critical to the success of our agency,” McCall said in a statement. “It’s the proof behind the promise of our brand. Investing in the future of our team is paramount to our business and the appointment of Melissa as our new Chief People Officer is testament to our efforts.”

Rose added in the statement from the company that her “biggest priority is to work alongside leaders who truly appreciate and value their people.”

“The opportunity to shape and advance employee retention, career progression, talent development, diversity and inclusion at Jack Morton is an exciting endeavor and true to the agency’s commitment to its people and unique culture,” she said.

Rose joins Jack Morton from global intellectual property software company Anaqua, where she served as vice president of human resources for over two years. Her past experience includes human resources leadership positions at iProsepect, ISM, Carat and Hill Holliday.

The appointment follows Jack Morton’s expansion of its U.S. team with six senior hires last May after picking up social media, content and community management duties for the Ad Council’s bias and diversity PSA campaign, “Love Has No Labels,” in February.
