The new Chairman of the Board od the Bernardin Hotels (Hoteli Bernardin) has become Rajko Rešek (the previous director of Adria Ankaran), while the new Board member is Dušan Mandič.

The Bernardin Hotels operates 1,184 hotel rooms on Slovenian coast. It is a major player in the market, with five hotels and a wide range of services for different market segments, from business to leisure tourism. Hoteli Bernardin have maintained three brands established in the market for four decades. On the sale and purchase market, the company is represented under a joint umbrella trademark Bernardin Hotels and three brands: St.Bernardin Resort, San Simon Resort and Salinera Resort. The congress offer includes 3,077 seats in Congress Center.

In 2017, Bernardin Hotels had 530.000 overnight stays what presented a 4% increase comparing to 2016, despite the fact that Grand Hotel Bernardin was closed in February and in early December to get some renovations done. According to the management, the company by the end of December 2017 accounted for a 28 million euros in revenues. Higher revenues are seen as the consequence of better occupancy in most of the year and also on the ground of higher prices. The management expects to count for 4,5 million euros of earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization, what represents for more than a quarter million increase comparing to the year 2016.
