Ryanair has announced its plan to launch a new regular scheduled service to Pisa, Italy, starting on 30th October 2018. The carrier will operate the route from Václav Havel Airport Prague with Boeing 737 aircraft three times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Thanks to the new service, passengers will be able to enjoy a year-round connection with Tuscany. The route is also operated by Czech Airlines – twice weekly in summer seasons. It is expected, the new route to be used by approximately 53 thousand passengers a year in both directions.

For summer schedule LOT, the Polish air carrier adds another frequency on its route between Prague and Warsaw. From May 2018, the carrier will operate additional six flights a week, making it up to five flights a day, on the route for passengers to choose from. The route will be operated by Bombardier Q-400 (DH4) and Embraer 175 aircraft with the capacity of 82 and 78 seats.

Norwegian Air Shuttle airline has just announced the launch of its new regular scheduled service to Gothenburg, Sweden, effective 27 April 2018. The carrier will operate its new route from Václav Havel Airport Prague with Boeing 737-800 for 186 passengers twice weekly – on Tuesday and Friday mornings. Prague will thus enjoy another regularly scheduled connection with the second largest city in Sweden.

Prague Airport expects the new route to be used by approximately 16 thousand passengers a year in both directions. Gothenburg is currently operated by Czech Airlines several times a week either directly or with a stopover in Hamburg.
