This week Terme Olimia presented the first part of one of the largest investments in Slovenian tourism – Thermalija FAMILY FUN. The results of the operations of Terme Olimia and Terme Tuhelj for the previous year were also presented.
By the end of June 2018, Terme Olimia will completely renovate and modernize the Wellness Center Termalija, in which they will invest ten million euros. The new Thermalija FAMILY & RELAX aims to shift the milestones in the field of water experiences with an attractive offer and to set new, higher standards in this field. The Termalija FAMILY FUN is primarily intended for families with children, and the Termalija RELAX for all eager for relaxation and recreational swimming.
In 2017, Terme Olimia generated nearly EUR 20 million of revenue, which is almost 6% more than in 2016. The largest share of revenue is the income of pension services in accommodation capacities, where almost 2017 were realized330,000 overnight stays.
Despite the fact that the year was extremely challenging for business since one of the largest investments in this year in Slovenian tourism – the construction and renovation of the Wellness Center Termalija – was held in March – they managed to increase the number of overnight stays by approx. 2%. More than this increase, they are proud of the fact that in spite of all markets, the site has managed to increase revenues by more than 5% on average. Likewise, the decrease in the pool area did not have a negative impact on the number of bathers, and the number of bathers visited more bathers than the year before; they generated a mere 490,000 entries in the pools, while the total number of outdoor visitors, especially due to the exceptionally beautiful weather in the summer months and a greater visit to the Aqualuna Thermal Park, even increased by one percentage
In the Congress Centre Olimia, there are seven technically equipped halls, suitable for organizing conferences, consultations, meetings, seminars, exhibitions, receptions and motivation programs. Many incentives are also offered in the natural surroundings.
In these halls you can also organize more social events, like banquets, fashion shows and ceremonial events.
