We talked to Andrea Sulzer, Founder of IN A TEAM, an event agency specialised in outdoor experiences

Andrea Sulzer founded the agency IN A TEAM in autumn 2012 and initially ran it as a small enterprise alongside a job in sales/marketing. She has been self-employed with IN A TEAM since 2013. As an enthusiastic mountaineer, she shows the beauty of her chosen home in Schladming to everyone who joins her – be that while mountaineering, Nordic walking, snowshoeing or as a travel guide and organiser of company outings, business events, incentives and team building programmes with groups of all kinds. Before she founded her company, she worked in marketing in the media industry in Vienna and in sales and marketing at the Planai-Hochwurzen-Bahnen. In addition, she completed numerous training programmes on outdoors, sport and tourism. As a certified mental coach, she now holds lectures and seminars as well as currently training to become a coach and trainer for enterprises and individuals.

Q: In your opinion, what makes Schladming special?

As Schladming is my chosen home (I grew up in Upper Austria), I am very happy to wake up every single day in a beautiful mountain area – where you have all kind of possibilities for sport, being active in the wonderful nature the whole year – all this in a very cute little city with very friendly inhabitants.

Q: Where would you take someone to “feel” the vibe of Schladming and what is your best incentive idea in Schladming?

The Dachstein Glacier experience is an unforgettable one – with the great view, the exciting suspension bridge and the impressive ice palace. After an active program (hiking, biking, mountain go-karts, archery, …) is the best idea to enjoy an evening with wonderful traditional Styrian dinner in one of our cozy mountain huts.

Q: What do you see as crucial marketing elements to lure meeting planners?

The perfect mixture of high-level hotels, meeting rooms, congress center – best infrastructure, excellent restaurants – in a very pleasant mountain area full of beautiful nature – in the middle of Austria – for everyone easy to reach – where everybody has lots of know-how in the MICE-sector.
