RAI Amsterdam has announced during Global Exhibitions Day (6 June) that it will organise the Event Industry Hackathon 2018 on 31 October 2018. This will see a team of experts, scientists, students and professionals from various sectors tackle challenges related to sustainability, matchmaking, experience, logistics and other event issues.

Submitting challenges
Event organisers, exhibitors and visitors who have identified missed opportunities or unresolved issues can submit their challenge via welcome@rai.nl until 1 August.
Hackers: everyone can join
Professionals who enjoy being challenged and applying their knowledge can register for the Hackathon until 1 September. RAI Amsterdam will select participants to establish a good mix of experts, scientists, students and other professionals from various sectors. All are welcome to join.
Event Industry Hackathon
The goal of the hackathon is to find innovative and creative solutions to the submitted challenges over a period of 24 hours. The solutions will then be shared within the event industry in the Netherlands and abroad, while the winning team has €2,500 to donate to a charity of their choice.
