From 12 to 14 November, the 12th PMI Forum will be held in Zagreb. The leading regional conference in the field of project management will host some of the most successful European project managers. The conference will take place in Zagreb’s Plaza event center and is expected to attract more than 500 participants from 140 companies of different profiles and activities.
Participants in the forum will be able to exchange experiences, connect and listen to lectures by local and foreign lecturers. The program includes five workshops that will teach concrete, applicable knowledge and skills from prominent national and foreign names from the branch.
One of the hosted lecturers will also be Peter Taylor, the inspirational world-known speaker, PM Strategist and author of several interesting titles dealing with the challenges of project management. He will hold a workshop called Working with Sponsors Effectively, on the first day of the conference.
The conference is organized by the PMI Croatia association, which brings together a trilateral project manager and branch of the global Project Management Institute (PMI), the world’s leading project management organization with more than 470,000 members.
PMP Forum Director Marina Pupić-Bakrač points out that the conference is open to anyone interested in project management and its suitable to individuals, project team or more complex management program and portfolio level.
This year’s forum will be titled Jump ahead, agile and creative. Agility and “agile” methods have for some time been the buzzword in the world of project management. It is about organizational methods that aim to make the process of executing a project faster and more flexible. Agile methods were initially used in the management of development projects, and today they are used to a certain extent by 71 percent of organizations globally.
Each year at the conference also the awards for the best projects of the past year.
