Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Group CEO of ADNEC, said that the key events being held across different sectors reinforce Abu Dhabi’s position as the hub of business tourism in the region. The growing diversity of our events portfolio is the result of the solid hard work led by ADNEC’s skilled national workforce and our partners in the public and private sectors, exhibition organizers and representatives of local and international professional associations.

The three-day CPhl 2018 Middle East and Africa Exhibition, to be held from 3rdto 5th September, will bring together leading international pharmaceutical professionals under one roof to network, carry out businesses and exchange global best practices.

Adding further to our list of imminent events is the inaugural edition of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS), supported by the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism and Abu Dhabi Ports. ADIBS will be held from 17thto 20th October 2018 and is expected to attract over 180 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors featuring over 75 luxury boats.

The next in line is the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), to be held from 25thto 29th September 2018 that will offer visitors the opportunity to explore the world of hunting, falconry, outdoor activities, equestrian delights, camping, safari, and fishing.

The Middle East Games Con, from 25thto 27th October 2018 is another bustling event that promises an exciting and an immersive gaming experience for the GCC gaming community.

Further, the SIAL Middle East and Abu Dhabi Date Palm Exhibition (ADDPE), to be held from 10thto 12th December 2018, is the only dedicated event for the date palm, an intrinsic part of the region’s culture. SIAL continues to forge ahead as the fastest growing platform for food, beverage and hospitality companies in the MENA region

TheAbu Dhabi International Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC)gets underway from November 12th-15th, which will discuss ways to make the industry future-ready. This event will provide Oil and gas professionals a platform and the opportunity to forge strategic partnerships.

Additionally, the five-day IEEE Globecom Conference, to be held from 9th-13thDecember 2018, will provide insights into the global advancements in the communications industry.

These events will be hosted at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, which along with Al Ain Convention Centre, attracted a total of 2 million visitors across 442 local, regional and international events in 2017and we are looking forward to an even greater footfall this year.
