Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) Global Conference is the association’s signature event, providing an annual gathering where incentive travel professionals from around the world converge to learn, network and become immersed in a destination experience that is truly motivational.
Alternating between regions across the globe, this year the conference was held in Europe (Rome, Italy), in partnership with Meetings Professionals International (MPI). SITE + MPI Global Forum attracted over 550 incentive and meeting professionals, the highest attendance ever recorded for a SITE event outside of North America.
In 2019, SITE returns to Asia for SITE Global Conference 2019, taking place 11-14 January in Bangkok, Thailand at the stunning Shangri-La Hotel. Ranked as one of the world’s top tourist destinations with its colorful culture, multifaceted attractions and bustling city life, Bangkok attracts tens of millions of international visitors each year.
The conference has been designed as a true Thai experiential immersion. Every aspect – education, evening events, tours and CSR – will engage the richness of the Thai culture, food and history with a keen focus on the revitalization and Innovation demonstrated by the River Alliance. The conference theme, “Incentiving Diversity and Innovation”, recognizes the magnificent diversity and brilliant innovation of the Thai culture, and also highlights how business innovation and success stem from a wholehearted embrace of diversity.
