The EASD Annual Congress scientific program features 1,200 talks and presentations covering the latest advances in diabetes research and treatment. The latest outcomes from fundamental research and medical practice are shared and discussed in symposiums, lectures, debates and poster presentations. With multiple focuses playing out in parallel, the program offers researchers and doctors a full-range of training and continuing education opportunities. Supporting young researchers and doctors is a special priority.

2020 will be the fifth time that the Austrian capital hosts the EASD Annual Meeting, and the Vienna Convention Bureau at the Vienna Tourist Board will be in attendance with a range of services.

Dr. Monika Grüsser, Managing Director of EASD said that after the last meeting at Reed Messe Wien in 2014, they are looking forward to bringing the global diabetes community together in the city once again in 2020 and making an important contribution to the worldwide fight against diabetes through the Annual Meeting.
