On 1 August, the NH Graz City opened its doors at Karmeliterplatz 4a/4b. A total of 157 rooms in a modern and urban style promise both business travellers and weekend visitors a chance for relaxation and comfort.

The four-star hotel enjoys a prominent position in the old city that is inscribed on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list.

The new building is the seventh member of the NH Hotel Group in Austria and the first hotel in the state of Styria. For Robert Edelsbrunner, Hotel Director of the NH Graz City, this marks the end of an intensive period of preparation: “Countless steps and close consultation with many areas of work are required to finally complete a hotel. My team and I are looking forward to presenting our beautiful building to the guests and to greeting them with a welcoming ‘Servus in Graz!’

Best ratio between price, performance and location
In addition to the picturesque old city, important hubs are also within easy reach. The main station is four kilometres away from the hotel and the journey to Graz Airport takes half an hour. Among the attractions beckoning visitors to a leisurely sightseeing tour of Graz are the castle, the clock tower and the opera. The neighbouring Karl-Franzens-Universität is also worth a visit. A total of eight universities are based in Graz, and the student flair gives the city a special atmosphere.

As a bed and breakfast establishment, the NH Graz City offers culinary pleasure sprinkled with regional specialities. A generous and sumptuous breakfast buffet ensures the perfect start to the day. Also included in the offer are a children’s breakfast and an Early Bird Breakfast for all those who have to leave at the crack of dawn. Guests can relax over drinks and snacks in the lobby bar while catching with on the latest sporting events on the TV screens provided. The hotel also has a fitness studio with access to a small rooftop terrace.
