The largest regional security industry’s conference and exhibition was held in Ljubljana’s largest fair, GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre (GR).
Mr. Hodžić told for Kongres Magazine that the decision for the GR as a venue of the Summit was taken mainly due to its location: “GR was in the vicinity of our hotels, restaurants, and the city centre.” As an event planning advantages of the GR, the CEO of the organising board pointed out, firstly, its professional service: “Their staff did their part excellently, providing us with everything we needed,” and, secondly, a huge parking adjacent to the rear entrance: “We used it for car parking and it came really handy for the equipment import.”
But not only the organiser, also the participants were amazed by the venue. Particularly with the GR’s space: “Its functionality and the ceiling height were the things they mentioned mostly,” noted Mr. Hodžić. And some of the attendees mentioned the GR’s cleanliness and parking: “This place is so spick and span, one of the participants said.”
Two-day Summit, providing a platform for discussing modern security challenges and developments in the field of technical and physical protection and security, had this year three main focuses: “Stands, on which companies exhibited their latest products and offered their services; speeches held by the prominent speakers from leading security companies; and case study presentations of the most successful projects,” emphasized Mr.Hodžić, the CEO of organising board of Adria Security Summit for Kongres Magazine.
