The competition, which is part of the Launchpad offering at Event Tech Live, was created as a platform for the next-generation of event tech companies, offering start-ups the opportunity to get in front of industry buyers and investors.

To win, Lineup Ninja fended off competition from 13 other event tech start-ups and were shortlisted down to three finalists by a public vote. The final three then faced a panel of top industry judges in a five-minute pitch competition. Judges included Ade Allenby, Global Head of Digital Innovation at Reed Exhibitions, Matt Coyne, Commercial Director at VISIT by GES, Dahlia El Gazzar, CEO, Dahlia+, Rupert Barksfield, Co-Founder, Pynk and Judith Wilson, Event Director, Eventit Exhibitions.

Their conference management technology impressed the judging panel with its solution driven approach and feedback from early adopters who have already deemed the event tech “the greatest admin lifesaver”.

Katie Crocombe, Director, 52eight3 who chaired the Launchpad competition commented that the judges were impressed with the Lineup Ninja team. Their pitch clearly demonstrated an easy solution to a very common problem amongst event and conference organizers.

Joe Atkinson, Co-founder, Lineup Ninja commented that they are thrilled to have won this year’s Launchpad competition. He added, that they created Lineup Ninja 18 months ago with a clear objective to help support event organizers with one of their most admin-heavy tasks. We have been overwhelmed with positive feedback from those organizers who have already trialed the tech and had much express interest in working with us in the future.
