News on the Prague Hotel Scene
During the four-day program, the fam trip participants visited seven selected Prague hotels. The first on the fam trip list was the sister duo of Marriott Hotel Prague and Courtyard by Marriott Prague City hotel. At the end of this summer, the Marriott Hotel Prague completed the extensive renovation of the conference floor with a total of 19 meeting rooms. You should not miss the Steakhouse Midtown Grill, which was rated as one of the TOP 10 Czech restaurants at the end of the year. Another part of the program was a B2B workshop with Prague service suppliers, which took place in Orea Hotel Pyramida. In the spring of this year, the reconstruction of all the rooms was completed, and the hotel is already preparing to rebuild the conference facilities. Moreover, it is the first hotel in Prague where you can meet Pepper the robot. The Prague boutique hotel scene was represented by the newly renovated Old Royal Post Apartments, originally from the 14th century, offering 26 differently themed rooms. Water fun lovers should undoubtedly appreciate the stay at Aquapalace Hotel Prague, which is a part of the largest commercial water entertainment world in Central Europe. Participants also visited the Mandarin Oriental Prague, located in a former 14th-century convent offering a breathtaking view of the Prague Castle from its presidential suite. The last hotel the fam trip participants visited was the Four Seasons Hotel Prague, which is located directly on the Vltava River bank. Visiting Prague does not just consist of the site inspections, but also of drawing inspiration and experience! And that was an integral part of the program. Initial steps of the fam trip participants led to the pearl of Prague Art Nouveau architecture – the Municipal House and its two flagship restaurants: the Francouzska Restaurant Art Nouveau and the Pilsen restaurant. Did you know that the bar in the Municipal House is also the second oldest bar in Europe? If you become tired after having a glass of delicious drink, and you find walking in the Prague cobblestone streets too exhausting, then there is nothing easier than taking a tram ride through the historic centre. But do not just take any tram: hop on the T3 Coupé vintage tram renovated in a contemporary design with a glass roof. The Fam trip attendees visited the brewery of Velké Popovice, and they also attended the school of beer brewing. When mentioning the food and drinks, the fam trip farewell dinner could not have been an ordinary one. QUIX company, in collaboration with the Zátiší Catering Group, prepared a dinner with a fascinating tablemapping projection for the visitors in the beautiful historical premises of the Žofín Palace, located on an island on the Vltava River.
To enjoy the amazing view of the Prague panorama from the Vltava River the fam trip participants were invited to the Christmas brunch on Grand Bohemia boat of the Prague Boats company. And what would be a pre-Christmas fam trip without visiting the renowned advent markets in the Old Town Square, which are considered one of the most beautiful in the world? For the attendees to pick the souvenirs of their choice before departing from Prague, the fam trip included shopping at the newly opened Prague The Style Outlets center, only a few minutes away from Prague’s Havel Airport.
