In the official elections for the ICCA Central European Chapter chairpersons, Karina Grützner, Director Convention Marketing at Stuttgart Convention Bureau has been elected as Chair and Igor Kovacevic, CEO of Serbia Convention Bureau has been elected as the Deputy Chair.
The term for both positions lasts two years. The chairpersons will serve the member community of the second largest ICCA chapter, with a focus on evaluating future challenges and needs, adjusting education events and strengthening networking within the chapter. The design of the education program for the upcoming summer meeting will be one major project that will take place in Belgrade from 29 – 31 August.
“It was a great honor to work with Anna Górska for the last two years as a deputy chairperson and I feel very privileged to continue her dedicated work for the Chapter as new chairperson. I’m looking forward to working with Igor, a passionate ICCA member with a clear vision and creativity and a strong network within the industry,” said Karina Grützner.
