The first “Courtyard by Marriott” hotel in the Republic of Serbia is opening in June, right in the center of Banja Luka

An investment of over 10 million EUR is in its final stages of construction, and will, once it is finished, boast 4 stars and 118 rooms, along with a conference hall for 150 people. With it, Banja Luka will be part of the biggest international hotel brand, Marriott International and part of the regional Marriott family, along with Belgrade, Zagreb, Sarajevo, and Skopje.

The global hotel brand Marriott International and the Banjaluka-based company MMI Razvoj Projekata signed a franchise agreement on opening Hotel Courtyard by Marriott Banjaluka back in 2017 and is now scheduled to open in June, 2019. The hotel will have 118 spacious, elegant and modernly equipped rooms, rooms for disabled persons, a multi-purpose multimedia conference hall with around 200 seats and a restaurant with over 100 seats. The hotel won’t have a wellness centre, as strict standards of the Marriott chain don’t allow hotel guests to mix with outside guests, Nada Kuzmanović, CEO of MMI Razvoj told the press.
