Slovenia’s capital will soon be richer for a new boutique hotel. The seven-storey hotel will be located in Ljubljana’s city centre, right next to the headquarters of the Slovenian National TV and Radio, and in the midst of all the most important happenings in Ljubljana but still in a bit isolated part of the centre so that the traffic and noise is not heavy. At the same time, the location provides a quick access to any of the Ljubljana’s attractions, museums, cinemas, restaurants, etc.

The investment worth of 8 million euros by Clipplus investment agency will bring to life a hotel, designed by Arhitektura 2211, with 49 rooms and 7 luxury apartments over 5,000 square metres of indoor and outdoor surfaces. Investors would like the hotel to start working before summer 2019. Alongside secured parking lot and basement, the hotel will provide guests with an outdoor swimming pool and large green terraces.

However, this is not the only new hotel that has been eagerly expected in Ljubljana to open: Šumi is supposed to have 151 rooms, Atower skyscraper will include hotel rooms, the former Bellevue hotel’s renovation will be worth 20 million euros, Delta from Serbia is planning another Intercontinental hotel, while Union Hotels are planning renovations of Hotel Lev, Hotel Central, as well as of Grand Hotel Union.

Certainly, all of the new investments will positively contribute to Ljubljana’s meetings tourism which has been in recent years rapidly growing and it, thus, needs more hotel capacities to freely flourish also in years to come.
