On February 24th  the annual ceremony – the International Hospitality Award, took place at the Intercontinental Hotel in Kyiv. The mission of the award is to develop a professional and competitive hospitality industry by promoting achievements in the hotel business. The aim of the award is to choose the best hotels according to the performance results of each year. At this edition of the event, 21 countries participated: Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Georgia, Slovakia, Moldova, Ukraine, Austria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Macedonia, Slovenia, Greece, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

The International hospitality awards is a benchmark of high quality of all guest services and is given to hotels in several different categories. This year two hotels from Slovakia won the 1stprize in two different categories:

  • Radisson Blu Carlton Hotel Bratislava was proclaimed the Best 4-star Business Hotel
  • Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras won the Best Wedding Hotel Award
