A gala award ceremony for PRO PR Awards took place on the 12th of April 2019 in Hotel Katarina in Selce as a part of the 17th PRO PR conference. The award is dedicated to individuals, who in a special way contribute to the development and positioning of the public relations profession. So far, since 2012, the award was awarded to 147 award winners from all around the globe.

The PRO PR Vision City award is intended for one of the cities of the organizing country, which was outstanding in positive publicity and communication on regional and international scale. Because the organizing country of the 17th PRO PR conference was Croatia, the award in this category was awarded to the city of Mali Lošinj, while the PRO PR Vision Manager award was taken by Gordana Kovačević, the president of Uprava Ericsson Nikola Tesla, for her successful implementation of communication processes in her company.

24 award winners from 11 countries

This year in the PRO PR Awards category, there were 24 award winners form Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Italy, Great Britain, Russia, Belgium and Germany. For their committed and dedicated work in public relations, the award winners from Slovenia are: Vesna Drole, Head of Public Relations in the Slovenian Police; Renata Lovrak, Head of Corporate Communications at Ljubljanske mlekarne; and Tomi Trbovec, an external co-worker for public relations at the Ski Association of Slovenia. At the end of November 2018, it was announced that the award winner of Infigo Award category was a respectable Slovenian media worker Marjan Novak.
