NEW MEMBER OF THE MONTE MULINI LUXURY ZONE
Rovinj just got one 5-star luxury hotel richer, rounding off the Monte Mulini zone, one of the most exclusive tourist zones in the Adriatic. The Grand Park Hotel Rovinj is the youngest sibling to boutique Hotel Monte Mulini, opened in 2009, Hotel Lone, the first Croatian design hotel and the recently renovated Hotel Eden, all part of the Croatian Adris group. Grand Park Hotel Rovinj is part of the Maistra Collection brand and in the company of hotels of the highest category.
SIGNATURES FROM THE MOST RENOWNED ARCHITECTS AND DESIGNERS
The best local and international architects and designers worked on the project. The new hotel is yet another excellent cooperation between Adris group and the Croatian 3LHD architecture studio, which is also responsible for the stunning architecture of Hotel Lone and Hotel Adriatic. The unique location and a very specific configuration of the terrain required the architects to design a cascading type structure, which, together with a 10.000 sqm green roof, blends perfectly with its surroundings. There are six floors, 193 rooms and 16 suites, most of them having massive terraces with green gardens and plunge pools. What’s rather peculiar is that the lobby, reception, the restaurants and congress halls are on the top floor, while the rooms work their way down.
Interior design was put into the hands of the famous Lissoni Architecture studio from Milan, one of the most renowned design studios in the world. Lissoni is known for his minimalism, attention to detail and choice of material, all of which, shows in the interior design of Grand Park Hotel Rovinj. Inspired by the Mediterranean landscape, he chose natural materials, lots of stone and wood, as well as earth-toned colours.
COMPLETE RELAXATION AND TOP-NOTCH CUISINE
Grand Park Hotel Rovinj features the biggest and most luxurious Spa&Wellnes centre in Istria. The Àlbaro Spa&Wellness spans across 3.800 square meters, two floors and includes three outdoor pools, three saunas and two smaller cold-water pools.
In one of the six hotel restaurants, the hotel guest is bound to find something that suits him. The hotel’s signature restaurant is called Cap Aureo, which offers spectacular views of the city and marina. Guests can also enjoy the biggest champagne collection in Croatia, relax by the Cissa Pool Bar, head for lunch to Laurel & Berry, try some local specialities in Primi Terreni Restaurant & Delicatessen or satisfy their sweet tooth in Katarina’s Patisserie.
