Virtual Educa, an organisation set to promote innovation in education, and Kenes Group, a professional conference organiser (PCO) and association management company (AMC), have signed a framework agreement outlining the collaboration on multiple projects for the next four years.

The framework addresses the projects of the European Union Virtual Educa Association, including partial conference management of the XXI International Meeting Virtual Educa Peru 2019, and the full PCO support for the XXII International Meeting Virtual Educa 2020. The agreement extends to 2022 and includes the provision of association management services. The Virtual Educa International Symposium is made of a multilateral forum, an international conference, and a commercial exhibition. The institutional multilateral forum frames the debate of more than 250 government representatives, organisations and international agencies, responsible for training and higher education institutions.

The conference has become a strategic area of convergence among experts, institutional representatives, and business leaders. It includes different sessions and workshops on the education of the future and the possibilities that technological innovation brings to the sector. There is also a scientific forum at which presentations of the processes and results of specialised research are presented to an audience of over 15,000 international participants.

The exhibition features over 200 companies from technological and educational sectors as well as national pavilions where each country shows the most important education initiatives currently being implemented.

Jose María Antón, General Secretary of Virtual Educa, shared: “We are convinced that this accord with Kenes Group Spain team will considerably strengthen our annual symposiums’ and forums’ agenda. We want to show our great satisfaction with the agreement reached. Welcome, Smara and team, to the Virtual Educa family!”

Smara Iglesia, Managing Director of Kenes Group Spain, added: “We are excited to join hands with Virtual Educa and assist them in their mission to promote innovation in education to support social transformation and sustainable development. We are looking forward to starting our collaboration and joining the upcoming event in Lima this November.”

Virtual Educa 2020 is themed around the topic of exponential education. The organisation is helping its partners on transferring the concept so that more institutions can follow and reformulate the changes that innovation delivers to education in terms of new systems, methods, and tools. More information on the event will follow soon.
