CEKIN MANOR - NATIONAL MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY HISTORY
The National Museum of Contemporary History is a state museum dedicated to the heritage of recent Slovenian history, from the beginning of the 20th century onwards. It resides in the Cekin Manor (Cekinov grad), a mid-18th century two-storey pavilion with a refined late Baroque facade, located on the edge of both the Tivoli Park and the city centre.
The Baroque highlight of this building, on its first floor, is a ceremonial hall beautifully fully adorned by wall paintings and two decorative stoves.
The Knights’ Hall is suitable for a variety of events – from lectures and press conferences to presentations and social functions, including seated dinners. A foyer offers additional space for standing receptions or cocktails.
