The Filderhalle Congress and Conference Centre close to Stuttgart Airport has been extended and now offers a new, multifunctional event room with a floor space of 400 m², which can be divided into two or three breakout rooms as required, increasing the total event area to 2,900 m².

Modern, trendy and right in the heart of town: the Design Offices Stuttgart Eberhardhöfe, Out Of Office, Stadtpalais Stuttgart and the Haus der Katholischen Kirche Stuttgart (Catholic Church Centre) on Palace Square offer new perspectives and options for events in the heart of the city. A unique addition to the varied portfolio of sustainability-oriented locations is the conference area of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen e.V. (German Sustainable Building Council). The DGNB headquarters in Stuttgart have been extended and certified as Living Showroom for Sustainable Building. Following almost two years of renovations, the Stuttgart Wagenhallen reopened their doors to the public last October. This former railway maintenance depot dating from the year 1895 with its industrial charm has been completely refurbished. The large hall with 1,050 m² of floor space is ideal for conference events with up to 500 participants.

In direct proximity to the ICS International Congress Center Stuttgart / Messe Stuttgart trade fair centre and Stuttgart Airport, the Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart Messe & Congress is scheduled to open in the autumn of 2019, next to the existing Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart Airport. The existing event areas will be increased to around 2,200 m². Together, the two Mövenpick Hotels Stuttgart offer a total of 588 rooms and suites. Along with the Wyndham Stuttgart Airport Messe there will then be 800 hotel rooms within walking distance of the ICS International Congress Center Stuttgart and the Messe Stuttgart trade fair centre. With the new Hall 10 the Messe Stuttgart acquired an additional 14,600 m² of exhibition space in January 2018, bringing the total exhibition site to 120,000 m².

Germany’s first and only Jaz Hotel also opened at the beginning of 2018. The lifestyle hotel is part of the 18-storey skyscraper “Cloud No.7” in the new inner-city area of the Europaviertel. The Jaz Stuttgart has 166 rooms and suites at its disposal, as well as various conference facilities. The boardrooms on the 6th floor have access to the roof terrace with wonderful panoramic views over the city.

An event location and a showroom for numerous collectors’ vehicles – the innovative event complex of the Motorworld Region Stuttgart is a fascinating experience for automobile fans on an area of 50,000 m² and this year celebrates its 10th anniversary. The facilities on the site of the former Stuttgart-Böblingen airport include the Hall of Legend with room for 650 guests and other meeting options with unique charm. The second V8 Hotel, opened in 2018, has 153 rooms and apartments, either in classic design or with automotive themes. The previous conference facilities were extended at the beginning of this year by an event area holding up to 200 participants.

By the year 2022 additional hotel projects with a total capacity of around 3,000 rooms will be realised in the Stuttgart Region.
