The first Marriott hotel in Republika Srpska, the entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a result of a franchise agreement signed in November 2017 between Marriott International , the largest hotel brand in the world, and the domestic company MMI Development Projects. Banja Luka, the second largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the de facto capital of its Republika Srpska entity, lies on the Vrbas River and is known for being full of tree-lined avenues, boulevards, gardens, and parks. The new hotel, Courtyard Banja Luka, is set in the charming Banja Luka’s city centre, in the First Krajina Corps Street.

Investment, worth around 10 million euros, brought to the region the 4-Star Hotel with 118 rooms, restaurant Bistro with 100 seats, fitness centre, and 5 multifunctional multimedia congress halls set by the strict MICE standards of the international hotel chain. The 5 event rooms are spread over more than 230 square meters. The meeting rooms are ideal for small business meetings, while the conference halls offer intimate space for small gatherings.

Courtyard by Marriott’s new business hotel is just a walking distance to main Governmental points, consulates, as well as to the National Theatre, the city’s central park of Mladen Stojanović and to the Banja Luka City Stadium.
