Maribor, the second largest Slovenian city, is these days hosting the third Street Food Market Maribor as a part of the Austrian Streetfood Festival Tour. More than 40 street food artists are in the capital of Slovenian Styria presenting their culinary magic from 29 August to 31 August, between 11am and 10pm daily. The food trucks are standing on the Trg Leona Štuklja Square.

Street Food Market Maribor is when the Streetfood Festival Tour makes its only stop outside of Austria and brings the original streetfood spirit for the very special time to Slovenian city of Maribor. The street food festival of Maribor has become a traditional festival of world cuisine organized by Factumevent in collaboration with its partner company from Austria. Maribor’s city centre is for three days turned into the international hub of gastronomy.

In three days, the visitors are able to taste different varities of food: Chinese dim sum, Spanish churros, hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, sea food, Czech sausages, Belgian waffles, crepes, scampi, pork and many other dishes. Of course, also vegetarians will be made happy by a rich variety of food served out of the attractive food trucks.

Proof of the event’s quality is in the fact that the name of the festival has been taken over not just Slovenian but also Austrian border as the famous National Geographic’s edition Traveler included the Street Food Market Maribor among the gastronomy events around the world that are worth visiting this summer. Besides food, the business and congress guests to Maribor that will stop to try some of the delicious world cuisine at this culinary festival appraised even by the famous magazine, are able to try also craft beers, local wine and drinks based on gin.
