E-Mobility: Discover Slovenia By Electric Car
Since this summer, guests can explore the area around the Best Western Hotel Kranjska Gora in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia by electric car. There are two Renault Twizys available for travelers, which can be rented on an hourly or daily basis. The Renault single-seaters can travel up to 100 kilometers with one load, to explore the Slovenian holiday region.
“We are always looking for something new to offer our guests a unique stay. Kranjska Gora is a popular region that offers travelers a variety of activities in all seasons,” explains Dejan Steiner, Managing Director of the Best Western Hotel Kranjska Gora. After a short briefing by the hotel staff, the climate-friendly journey can begin. “Most of our guests are very excited before the start because they have never driven such an electric car before. But many of them come back after a few days and want to rent the Twizys again. We are delighted that our idea has been so well received by the travelers”, says Steiner.
In addition to the two electric cars, the Best Western Hotel Kranjska Gora plans to implement further environmentally friendly projects in the future. For example, the four star hotel is to be converted to renewable energies, for which the installation of heat exchanger pumps is planned. Further, a new system to reduce waste is to be established, among other things by avoiding plastic articles and disposable packaging and the hotel’s own shuttle car will also switch to e-mobility.
Unique Vacation Hotel in the Tripoint Area
The Slovenian Best Western Hotel Kranjska Gora on the outskirts of Kranjska Gora has 72 rooms in four categories. In the hotel’s own restaurant, the team prepares regional specialities characterised by the cross-border cuisine of the Alpe-Adria region. In the café with summer terrace, guests can enjoy homemade desserts, cakes and ice cream. To relax, the four-star hotel offers a wellness area with indoor pool, children’s pool, whirlpool and paid massage services. A fitness room and four tennis courts on the hotel grounds invite you to be active.
