VODA AQUA (voda in Slovene language means water) is connecting companies and individuals involved in the use and processing of drinking and industrial water and wastewater, as well as companies related to waste management. The only B2B trade fair of this kind in Slovenia and the CEE region, will take place between the 1st and 3rd of October 2019. Organized by ICM d.o.o., VODA AQUA is for its 2nd edition and 2nd time in a row taking place in GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre.
“We decided three years ago to organize our professional events at the GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre as this is not only the central location in Slovenia, but it also offers other opportunities. The most important for us are the geographical location in the EU, quality technical and technological facilities and a perfect exhibition space for organizing events of our type,” sasy Toni Laznik, CEO of ICM d.o.o., specialized company for the organization of fairs, events & congresses.
The aim of the VODA AQUA trade fair is to focus on water as a common food and a natural value of paramount importance and significance of the impact on our quality of the drinking and wastewater that affects our lives, our health, as well as our economy. It is necessary to protect water and its ecosystems from business practices that could have a negative impact on water. Thus, the search for innovative solutions for this problem is growing. “Commercial, environmental and regulatory pressures are driving the industry towards increasing business efficiency. Exhibitors at the VODA AQUA 2019 will, hence, showcase solutions that help optimize resource management and enhance environmental and economic outcomes,” emphasizes Toni Laznik, CEO of ICM d.o.o.
Organizer is expecting 24 exhibiting companies from Slovenia, Croatia, Germany, Serbia and Romania. The trade will host exhibiting boots as well as Business Forum where lectures and round tables discussing pressing topics on quality of water will take place. VODA AQUA will bring together manufacturers, official importers and distributors of machinery, equipment, devices, instruments and chemicals used in above mentioned sectors: water and waste management companies, utility companies, research & development companies, educational institutions, local governments and even Ministries.
