Planica Nordic Centre offers you fun ways to spend time on hot summer days as well as in the chilliest winters. Various events can be carried out in Planica, and quality time spent in the wonderful valley under the Ponce. Planica offers a 566m long zipline and the experience of cross-country skiing.
Every year, the Valley under the Ponce Mountains organizes various occasions and events for all ages. The most memorable and important event is the FIS Ski Flying World Championships at Flying hill of Gorišek Brothers and without it, the yearly world cup of ski jumping simply can’t happen. One of the most interesting events was the Red Bull 400 event, where competitors competed in the hardest 400-metre run in the world.
