GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre hosted on the 19th of October 2019 the jubilee 20th Slovene Hair Show. Regionally well-renowned traditional Hair Show, once a year for one day taking place in the GR, was visited by around 1300 professionals and interested audience.
This year there were 27 exhibitors coming from Slovenia and in 15% cases they were from South East Europe, mostly from Serbia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The exhibitors, spanning from importers, distributers, to professional cosmeticians, and sellers of different hair and cosmetic products, showcased their products and services, including professional hair equipment, accessories and capes, as well as products for nail cosmetics.
Slovene Hair Show is every year organized by magazine Salon and it hosts several different showcase events in accordance with the trends in the industry. This year, there was the ‘Live on Stage’ act that was the main focus of the fair and took place on the main stage which was set in the Kocka Hall. Professionals and audience were also able to attend lectures, Salon Live, and Hair Show.
The seminars accompanying the fair took place in Kupola Hall and they were focused either on the industry, like the Step by Step or also called Look & Learn, or were business seminars for the hair salons and their owners on the modern approaches to improving their business, marketing and use of social networks. The fair was, for its celebratory 20th anniversary, wrapped up with an after party that was held in the Kocka Hall.
Uroš Popović from magazine Revija SALON which organizes the fair, said for Kongres Magazine that the GR as the venue “Has been a perfect place for the Slovene Hair Show as its capacities in all aspects match our needs.” And as the show is growing year by year, “The GR remains the perfect place as we will need even more space in the future.”
However, the space that the GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre provides, is not the only thing that the Revija SALON magazine likes about the venue. “The GR’s team is excellent. All the way from the IT department, to technicians, to marketing, etc … Brilliant! I can only give them A+ and nothing less!” emphasized Uroš Popovič from Revija SALON magazine.
